Our Outreach Program promotes awareness of UNICEF campaigns and raises funds for UNICEF Canada through events such as monthly bake sales, speaker series, UNICEF Week, and our annual raffle event! Our most popular event is our “Prof-in-a-Prop” challenge which is active all throughout October!

 

During this campaign, we collect in-class donations to help UNICEF pursue its goal of improving the quality of life of children all around the world through HIV prevention, nutrition, water and sanitation, and much more. Outreach volunteers deliver in-class announcements across campus and ask students to make donations to UNICEF Canada.

 

If the class raises the target donation (a goal of $1/student), their professor agrees to wear a U of T UNICEF-delivered costume during a lecture! Available options include banana, hot dog, and bunny costumes!
